I have to agree that patience isn't very good for me as I get older especially my nerves are easier to fustrate me.

Children can test your nerves but I do my best to keep them busy.

:cat: I used to have the patience of Job when I was younger but I kind of think that it is my current living circumstances that have me so frazzled (that and a lot of dirt under the rug) and hoping things change soon. Right now though, it is like  :BangHead: which is the exact opposite of patience. Seeking the Path of the Peaceful Warrior  :peace: again.

Patience  is a virtue. I lose my patience very easy now a days. As a matter of fact, right now I am listening to how cruel I was by not getting my dog his Beggin treats at the store. My hubby told him he was going to get his treat and because I DID NOT GET THEM, I broke the poor little dog's heart. Of course I'm sorry I forgot them is not a good enough of an apology. I guess they will both have to get OVER IT! I am being patient by not telling them both what babies they really are!

Patience?  I wanted that yesterday lol.

Sometimes I think watching small children brings out our inner child and I know mine doesn't necessarily play well with others.   ;D  Just pause and take a deep breath.

Patience is one of the hardest traits to master.  When one has to deal with restless or disorderly children or seniors who aren't all together there it can be or feel rather impossible to maintain ones sanity.  I have had to deal with both myself so I know the stress that can at times overwelm.  Having a few quite moments to oneself is a luxury one doesn't often get but is something that is needed from time to time.  We all need a break whether it is time off from work.  Getting out of the house.  Or, getting a sitter to watch children or seniors.  Realize your limitations and what you are and are not capable of handling and make adjustments as you have to think of your own welfare as well.  Take good care of yourself!

...Not sure how I got so much.  However, I totally understand loosing them.  The less control we have over a situation the less patience I find I have.

I definitely have more patience the older I get.  I tend to ignore the "stupid" things and let them roll off...
