Everybody has to find their own thing I think. Watching something funny will definitely help. Talk to someone funny, think of something funny, anything but what depresses you will help.We all get in that kind of mood every now and then especially in winter time but it helps me to think about the spring, birds and flowers and new beginnings. :peace:

I usually dont cheer myself up, i usually go on a bender until things get straightened out

I used to do that too.  Problem was it seemed like as soon as one got straightened out, another one cropped up.  I don't drink anymore, but geeze, don't think I haven't thought about it this past week.  It would be nice to escape for a while.  Problem is, my hangovers were so bad I wanted to die.  If it were not for hangovers I probably would still be doing it.  There wasn't enough Alka Seltzer on the planet to cure mine.  lol

I either grab a good book or i look at my 3month old son, just holding him or getting him to giggle can make my day go from crappy to awesome  :angel12:

I'm usually pretty cheerful but if I experience a bout of depression...

I reach for a Pepsi Throw Back and/or Chocolate Chip cookies.  Then I eventually realize that I haven't been getting enough B vitamins.

I'm usually able to shift and put everything into perspective if I get a mega dose of B complex with my Centrum Silver.

Have a great day!

That is something that always bothered me. What I do is play some music. And it depends on what mood I am in at the time. I also watch movies.

I treat myself in some small way. A good book or movie and a nice snack (chocolate, or ice cream) and I put my problems aside until I calm down and am prepared to deal with them with a clear head.

If you know how to use the Internet, go to YouTube and watch your favorite video or listen to the music you like. They also have psychodelic videos with outstanding imagery to relax your busy and worried mind.

I take a walk to the thrift store and spend time just scratching about (we have 3 stores fairly close to our home). It does not take long for me to forget my miserable mood!   ;D

:wave:Hot tea with honey coloring with my kids or watching a good movie with my kids if all else fails chocalate helps so if I get a strong choclate craving I go for hot choclate instead of candy.
