There is such a thing as color blind.  Some people can not see certain colors.  If they are lucky, they have family who help them pick out what to wear, and it is not important for the job they do such as a pharmacy worker.

Of course.  My ex's mom was color blind, but somehow he wasn't.  (It's passed on from mother to son.  If the mother has it her son is sure to have it, but somehow it missed him.)  That didn't seem to help him select good outfits though.

I was tested for color blindness for my job even.  They have you identify numbers formed of colored dots, amidst other colored dots, on cards to see if you can distinguish between colors.  It's not that the world looks all black and white, but that it looks muted, like it does in the evening so some colors are hard to distinguish from others.

Dogs are believed to be color blind in that they lack the physiology to see colors the way we do, but I believe that they can still tell colors by other means.

Yes, I am color blind.  If red and green are together in a faint shade, I can not tell them a part.  Also blue and purple is hard for me too.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

Yes,  there is.  I would like to share a true story.  I was going to school in Clarksville,  TN.  I had a Science teacher,  Mr. Johnson.  He was color blind.  I wore a pink and white dress one day and he told me I was wearing a green dress.  He then explained that he was colorblind.

I still don't understand how this works. I didn't realize such a thing existed until after watching Little Miss Sunshine

My dad is color blind. So far none of my 5 boys and 1 daughter seem to be. I hope that I don't carry that gene. We have other genes that come from my father's side that affected my kids- two are severely far-sighted. One son's glasses (he's 5) are so powerful that he'd be like one of those kids way back when where his glasses looked weird and could be used as magnifying glasses. My dh and I are near-sighted. We put my 5 yo in physical therapy when he was 2 because he wasn't able to do most of the major gross motor skills. The therapist said he thought he was fine. When my older kids needed their annual eye exam, I took him in, too. That's when I found out that he couldn't see. I never thought about far-sightedness!

You can find me on Youtube!

Yup! My dad's color blind and so is one of my friends. I remember we had an art class together and he would always ask me what colors the colored pencils were.

Yes. My brother was color blind. He apparently couldn't see certain colors, they were gray or black to him. Any other questions? I'm a wealth of information. So is google, but then hey I've experienced a lot. How about you? I have an awesome web site if you ever want to "See with Me" by Joan Lane Lewis google it and have a great day.

My hubby is color blind, it can come up with some of the wierd as combos. If he he just working at home n things i don't say anything but when is at school i have to tell him what matches.  I don't let him near any of my paints that i use in paint gourds.  He can draw anything he wants on them just don't touch my paint. As for my eyesight i am nearn sighted in 1 eye and far sighted in the other and hve worn bifocials since i was 14.  I must have my glasses on at all times driving. At least no one wants to borrow them  If they do it only once heehee
