has anyone got the flu that is going around

i went to the doctors today and i have it running a fever of 101.5 and ache all over nausea i hope it doesn't last long he says the average is 5 days

That's the reason my doctor wants me my wife did get the flu shot every year so we don't get it. That is the flu we have earned since we been getting our shot each year we have had a the flu very bad at all little bit of headache all.

I had the very nasty stomach variety flu.  It hits you pretty hard the first 24 hours, then takes a couple more days to really fade away.  It leaves you fairly drained.

So far I've been lucky but I always get the stomach virus kind. I make sure to wash my hands and take some vitamin c but some how it always finds me.

I have not gotten the flu, but my sister had it a week ago in NJ.   I stayed away from her, because i do not want to catch it.....

I had a form of the flu twice this year already, it only lasted for 24 hours. But this is the
first time I had the flu in over 10 years!

I was good and sick right around Christmas but I don't think it was the flu. Some of my co-workers have had it, but thankfully I haven't caught it (...yet *knocks on wood*)

My son had a strain in Sept. Then last week my daughter caught another strain which my son got from her. My husband and I took tamiflu and did not get it. The dr. who saw my daughter said about 50 percent of the positive diagnosis' he is seeing right now are in people who had the flu shot.

no, i got a flu shot awhile back and it seems to have helped

It seems like everywhere I turn someone has the flu right now. It's a bad time.
