Laundry Day
« on: January 14, 2013, 08:02:49 am »
Growing up, laundry day was always Monday.  Do you have a certain laundry day?  I use to do mine Monday, now I do it as I need it.  So just answer if you have a certain day you do laundry like Monday or As needed.

laundry day is the reason every woman needs a wife - otherwise go naked - then no need for laundry day

Hi,

My favorite laundry day is always on a Sunday. If by chance this day is not available then I will choose a Saturday. No matter what day I select for laundry day(for the past few years) it now has to be either Saturday or Sunday. I choose these days because Mon-Fri is reserved for other family chores  such as cooking, cleaning, preparation for work the following day, etc... I believe if I had to do laundry now on a day other than Sunday(possibly Saturday) I don't believe I could do it I WOULD FEEL UNEASY AND UNCOMFORTABLE DOING IT....wierd behavior, isn't it :) :)

My laundry day is Saturday which is not the best day to be celebrating Laundry Day, as I also need to get to the stores to top up the food supplies and do my general shopping..... :sad1:  busy busy busy!

No certain day for laundry at my house.  Whenever the basket gets full I throw in a load.  I hate folding though but it is better than dishes!

We do laundry and needed sometimes we have to do three or four batches in one day there's only two of us. But other times we go for to three days about doing a laundry but we don't not have a set laundry day when the close basket gets full we do the laundry that's the way it is.

There are times when I have to go to the laundromat, as I did last week when I had to wash blankets.  Otherwise, I hang my clothes on a line.  I think the clothes have that outdoorsy smell when they come off the line.  I just get upset when I am rushed and wash and it rains. :) ;D

I do laundry as needed.  I make sure I have enough for a full load.  Don't like to waste electric, soap, or my time.  Thank goodness for washing machines and dryers.
