cash or debit/credit

I use cash! I do have a debit card for redbox and online purchases!

We tend to almost always use our debit card. The reason that we do this is because we find that we have to think more about our purchases when we are using plastic. It is just too easy to pull out cash and spend that in my opinion.

I'm always tight on cash, so I only buy what I absolutely need. To prevent myself from spending too much, I like to cash as much as possible. However, I find myself using my debit card most of the time because I didn't plan ahead and drop by an ATM.

Dave Ramsey says people who carry cash are likely to spend less money because they don't want to part with it. I wonder if anyone else has had that experience.

If I can, i'll always use credit card to make purchases.  I get cash back every time i use it.  And I pay it off every month so it's worth it. Also, credit cards have better protection against fraud.

Credit card heavily as I want my reward point earnings. I always carry cash in some capacity, but I primarily use this when credit cards are not acceptable or I have to pay a premium when using credit cards (i.e. 10 cents extra at certain gas stations).
