i have a part jack russell part beagle. that little dog is the best. i also want to get another black lab one of these days. i used to have a couple of them.

We have a smallish mixed breed that our youngest daughter picked out at the pound almost 13 years ago.  If it wasn't for his piercing barking when someone comes in he would almost be perfect!  He's really a great dog.  At first he was our daughters dog, then when she quit paying as much attention to him, he switched to being my dog but when I got busy tending to my parents he became my husbands' dog.  He is so spoiled its unbelieveable but he's really sweet too.  He sleeps with us every night (which is something I wish he didn't do cause he sheds so bad)  When he dies it will really hurt us all but I think it will really hurt my husband.

We have a 12 yr young Boston Terrier. He also has a very piercing bark and feels it is his duty to announce everyone. We took him in when my parents could no longer care for him. He is a good dog  but full of energy.

A yellow lab, she's my "dream dog" meaning almost eleven years ago I saw a yellow lab and thought to myself "that is such a cute dog, someday I would LOVE to have one of those".  It must have been destined to be because a few short months later, an unknowing co-worker gave me one.  She's been a terrific dog, love her bunches!!

I also have two cats from two different litters but they both have the same birthday.  One is a short hair orange tabby and the other is an orange Norwegian Forest cat.  Both of them are so different but get along so great.  They always are doing something funny, being sweet and they're loved bunches too!!

Four cats and a horse. Of those, we adopted one cat and bought (kinda rescued) our horse. Of the other three cats, 2 are sisters who literally fell into our lives from the balcony of the mentally ill woman who used to live in the apartment above us (she's one neighbor I won't miss). The last cat we found in the alley behind our place when we moved. He was a very tiny, very underweight, extremely ill little boy who might not have survived the night if we hadn't happened to hear him crying. And no matter how many times I say I'm maxed out for animals I can care for right now, I still have people asking me to take in more cats. I wonder how my kitties will feel about a puppy when I have more money . . .

3 dogs, a "RugRat" which is a Pug/Rat terrior/Jack Russel x, a full blood Staffordshire Terrior, and a Great Dane Lab cross.   

8 horses, AQHA/APHA and a little mini horse.

I don't have any pets right now but we are talking about getting a big cat of some sort when we get a house.

I like pets but am holding out for a robot dog that looks, feels, and acts like the real thing-- no need to feed, water, or potty-train; when I leave the house or go a trip, it can be set on watchdog mode to protect the premises.

I have a Quaker parrot. He's 18 months old and we are now working on potty training. He is learning to talk and says, "good morning, time to go night-night,  Emmett's the pretty bird, hello, all gone, and "the dabba doo bird."
