Do you worry about someone listening to your cell phone convesations?

I've heard about this, but I don't I worry much because i don't talk on the phone very much. Only use it for emergancy or very importaint calls.
so goverment hear all you want.

They've been listening for years.  They just have better tech now.   My dad was in the NSA long before the government even admited there was an NSA.   It's nothing new, but on some level it is necessary.  Contrary to what the media would have us believe, we really don't need to know everything our government is doing - because if we know it - our enemies know it.

I'm not sure about Big Brother watching, but I know some people listen in... One time I went to an electronics store and bought a short-wave radio.  I started going through the airwaves and would find channels that contained nothing but cell phone calls.  It was insane listening to some of the conversations.  I started cooking pop corn--it was better than going to the movies.  But, alas, I started getting addicted (and feeling guilty), so I took the radio back.

I don't worry about someone listening to cell phone conversations because I don't talk about anything that would be of concern to anyone. I'm not that interesting. haha But aside from that, I don't even have a cell phone to talk to anyone on so there's no chance of being eavesdropped on.

It's absolutely amazing how many people are NOT worried in the least as to who listens to their conversation. These seem like the self absorbed, oh so important and ignorant people that have their cell phones glued to their ear every minute. I simply find a quiet, away area from people, to talk on my cell if need be and that's usually in my PARKED car.

Yes because you have to watch you are saying on your cell phone and your house phone.

They use satellites and such. You cant escape the government

I dont care about someone listening to my cell phone conversations, because  I think they wont be interested in the content of my talks.

Nope. But I don't ever say anything really important/illegal/serious/etc. in phone conversations to be worried about things like that.
I hardly believe that there's someone out there listening to every conversation about most likely irrelevant things.

Unless you're wanted by the government for something super serious (which I doubt), you shouldn't be worried either OP.

yes they can and the phone companies keep these records for i think two weeks and they also keep your texts for a time also

   No I do not worry about someone listening to your cell phone convesations, but that is probably just because I do not use or have a cell phone

No I don't worry.  My conversations are not that interesting.

I try not to even think about something like that because if i did i would definatly worry cause its my private conversation on my cell phone
