30 posts later....
« on: April 30, 2009, 04:13:17 pm »
"You do not have enough posts for the selected month."  What does that mean?  Last month at the end of the month I posted 3 from the 30 comments and here we are; last day of the month I've got 62 posts under my belt.  So I figure I better get those 3 post in, an error occured after filling the form and submitting it that said. "You do not have enough posts for the selected month."

Maybe all of your posts did not meet their standard of approval. I do not really know what their standards are, but they say they must be quality. I think they mean have a point, not just 'hey im trying to get my 30in this month for my $3.' I am not saying you have done that, but I have seen it LOL

There's a % in your posting profile. If %50+ of your posts come from Off Topic, I wouldn't expect credit.
Btw I have no idea what the criteria for credit is(it's not posted anywhere), but I doubt they'll pay you for talking about your favorite tv shows.

Wait are you saying that if a majority of my stuff is in off topic that maybe a contributing factor in why a person doesn't get credit? I didn't think if matterd. I thought as long as the posts either started a disscusion or help answer a question it counted.

I assumed a post was "informative" if it was a bit more detailed in length and something more than just:  LOL   or     :)

I did not read anywhere that said it had to be posted under specific categories either. Since today is the last day of the month, I hope that isn't correct.  ???

And I'm quoting from the post about this promotion...

"I'm happy to announce our first paid-to-post program!  You asked for more ways to make money, and we're here to deliver.  We have added new forum categories and we'd love to see them full of vibrant discussion.  To that end, we're offering a bonus of $3 each month you make 30 or more contributory posts in the forum. Here are the details:

- You must make the posts during a calendar month as measured by FusionCash's official time (located in the top right of each page).
- Bonuses will be credited the following month; please allow 2-3 weeks for crediting.
- A contributory post is one that offers some insight, makes people laugh, carries a conversation, provides information or help, or something along those lines.  It's not spam, or an attempt to make money for oneself, and it's not short or missing content.  Basically, if you post just to meet the 30 post requirement, you wont qualify."

I highlighted things that tell me that it isn't necessarily informative posts.  It's just posts to keep the forums going and keep them interesting.  Carry on a conversation in a post... I'm sure we've all gone back to posts and replied numerous times keeping the conversation going.  Also, starting your own topic, even if it is about TV, is still keeping the forums going.  I think as long as you have 30 genuine posts... not spam or just "LOL" or something silly, but a post that really has words, you should be fine.  If I'm misunderstanding this, please someone explain to me, but I'm certain that what we're doing is right!

Now my question is... when will that $3 actually be credited??

I just completed the form for the August posts.  How long does it usually take to get a message back that you've been rejected?  I haven't received anything yet, but didn't want to be past the end of the month and get a rejection that I can't do anything about.  Anybody have any answers?  Thanks!!

From what I can tell from the past month, generally the bonuses are done around the end of the month the following month after you ask for credit, I would guess if your posts don't meet the criteria you will get a PM telling you so sometime during next month would be my guess.  I have never been denied credit so I cant say for sure but I would guess they process the requests the following month after credit request is made and send out the PM's to the people that didn't qualify during that time.  I have only received one credit for forum bonus so far and I received it around the last of the month the following month.

yeah!!  The end of September... not in time to cash out either I bet....  The forum post explaining this promotion NEEDS to be updated or corrected.  It says allow 2-3 weeks for credit.  Not wait and entire month or longer to receive it.  It's very disappointing.  I expected that if I did it on the 17th of July, I would get it early August... not the case!!  It needs to be clarified.
