I think there will be a deal made about two weeks into January. I think they are gonna realize that they have to agree on something!

Congress is a JOKE! They can not agree on a budget for the nation but they want to vote to give themselves a pay raise.  :BangHead:

I think that they will kick the can down the road again, with some stop gap deal. They need to stop playing around with the future of the USA.

Yeah I don't understand how they can get a pay raise while the rest of us suffer. They aren't helping anyone of us like they claim to. They are only looking out for themselves.

Without a leader, it's hard to get a deal done.  Without people who are willing to compromise, it's hard to get a deal done.  At this point, it won't be anything good if we happen to get one before 2013, and it certainly won't be anything good afterwards.

They will eventually get a deal but to the dissatisfaction of everyone involved including American citizens.

I am not going to place the blame on just one party they are all guilty. It is again what i want and to heck with anyone else.

Is a bunch of  :bs:  talk.  No matter what congress does, they are going raise taxes anyway they can.

I am tired of the government and congress decideing everthing, they don't want to cut there own budget to work they would rather take away from the poor to cover the rich.  Saw on the news where that was broght up for congress to cut back on there income and they said no way.

There already is. We all agree that our leaders especially the Senate and Congress need to be replaced with leaders who work for the people and not themselves. We need leaders who are in touch with our needs. They seem to forget it is the people who placed them in the seat of power. We should take our chairs back!

i dont think so. Im tired of this being the number one topic when you listen to the news. but it would be nice to know because this means if not most peoples take home pay will be reduced so you need to budget for this shortfall

If there is a deal, it is going be another temporary measure which congress will ignore until the last minute next time around.
