Financial question to the big money making seniors here
« on: December 29, 2012, 09:15:14 am »
I have now been here a good little while and am into the routine.  I have received consistent monthly checks now for a little bit.

As we head into the new year, I am wondering if I continue doing this at the rate I have been daily, is this taxable income or not?  Do you guys who are up in the income keep your stubs for tax purposes?  I have noticed that with what I have made so far, if I do this on into another year it will add up quickly.  Just wanted to know.  And if I am a member of other sites do they count as well the same way?

Thanks for your help.

If you earn over $600 in a calendar year, Fusioncash will issue a Form 1099 and report it to the IRS.

Any income made online is subject to tax. How much, if any, would be determined by your personal circumstances.

I work several sites.  I have not made $600 on any one site in a single year, but I do make over that amount collectively across all the sites.

I always report everything I earn from these sites - and enter them as "hobby" income in one of the 1040 misc categories.  I keep track of my earnings using financial software (if you don't have any, I found you can get a free copy of an older version of Quicken online, should be able to search for it - I downloaded the 2004 version).  Just make it a point to update your ledger every month or so though out the year.
