yeah its that time again my other half caught a nasty cold...its crazy because theroflu is outta stock so many people are getting sick

I try to be very very careful at mt job.  My co-worker think I am crazy because I use Lysol everywhere.

i developed a nasty head cold right before Christmas, and some of the nasal congestion is still hanging around.  Where I work we are all jammed together and shut away from everyone else due to security reasons.  Lysol or not, some of the nasty germs and viruses will have their way, I'm afraid.

It seems like everyone around me is sick.  I had the flu shot again this year and haven't been sick so far.  About two years ago, I didn't get one and had the worst flu I have EVER had.  I was sick for two months.

Cut an onion in half, put one in each room of your home. Replace it daily. Seems to work and helps keeping the bacteria away from you and is attracted to the onion. Hum, maybe there is something to that! I heard the same thing about fresh garlic. Well just a crazy thought to start off the new year.

Yes but it didn't start until yesterday my grandmother is sick and I've been around her a lot plus we've been in and out of hospitals and nursing homes. I'm really trying to fight this cold, I hate feeling sick.

It was noted on a news program, that the flu season started late this year and is raging in the south(Florida) where they typically don't see as many cases as we do in the north(except among elder populations). So if you haven't had your flu shot, now is the time. Better a cold instead of the flu. I have been recently placed on immunosuppressent drug due to another health condition so I will have myself in the doctors office this week for my shot. And virus are smart and evolve and mutate so hence the need for a new shot yearly.
