Must have missed something lol but you know what?  If your family wants to go to the beach whether or not that is a "traditional" place to go for christmas or whatever you were referring to ..... it doesn't matter.  Life is short.  People should have a good time doing whatever they like to do.

Just out of curiosity, I just looked on the website for the Condo System we use at the Seaside Oregon resort and it's booked solid for Christmas. With 4 stories of rooms, there must be a few people who think going to the beach over Christmas is a splendid idea.

well my relatives are from up north so they think this is great weather in the 60's is ok but it was very cold when the wind blows and it was what they wanted to do today so we went stayed about 1 hr then went and had dinner then home

It's to cold where I am to go to the beach right now it's in the 30's and 40's. I will definitely go when the weather gets warmer.
