You would be surprised at the number of people who really believed in the predictions that the Mayans made. This prediction came from the fact that the Mayans ended their calendar on 12/21/2012. People assumed that this would be our last day in existence. I personally believe in God and his promises the to man kind. No man knows the day or the hour that this world is going to end.

I logically didn't believe it would but I felt compelled to still cherish the moments as if they could be the last. To often it is easy to take for granted the little things.

I didn't believe it all.  No one knows the day or the hour of this earth's demise.  I don't get why people would be frightened about it in the first place. lol

no or I would have taken the day off from work.  I did see some people doing some idiotic things though.  The "end of the world" parties that got some arrested, those that quit their jobs to party all week, quite a few that spent a fortune on supplies to stockpile (and food for "stress-eating" that week as they told me) and a few that maxed out their credit cards thinking they would never have to pay their bill.

My daughter was kind of worried about it and I told her she shouldn't worry, I did not think it was going to happen and I told her if it was going to end, we wouldn't be here to know about it anyway so why worry.
