What do you do with your spare change?

We have a flowerpot on top of the fridge that we keep ours in.

I use the quarters at the laundromat, but everything else I cash out at a CoinStar machine once it gets full.

i have a jar for it, dip into it on and off. it comes in handy when times are rough!

If I have quarters, I like to put them in my kids' state quarter collections. I think it's fun to collect them. When I was a kid, I tried to get one penny for each year since 1900. It was a lot of fun trying!

We have a (don't laugh)   a large piggy bank.  We put our change in it every night and when it's full we cash it in and do something special.  You would be surprised how fast it can fill up.

We have an old jar with my daughter's first grade picture on it.  She was taking up money in elementary school for a school money making project and we now use this jar for our extra change.  I don't empty my pockets on a regular basis, but when I see any coins lying around, I stick them in the jar.  It's about full, so I need to take it to the bank.  It's mostly pennies.

I save my change. 100 pennies = $1.00 Every penny counts. Change helps later with bills and other items I may need later!

I save mine in a fairly good sized piggy bank to spend whenever.  It doesn't add up nearly as fast as it did before I started using a debit card a couple years ago.  lol

i keep my spare changes in a plastic piggy bank. i sometimes take some out for a snack at a vending machine or something

We have a special bowl we place all our spare change in.  It is on top of the fridge.  When it gets full, I take it to the bank and cash it in.

Unless we are running low on cash
I will break out the change and if we have enough and It is worth it we will take it somewhere for dollar bills.
Other times if we need something cheap then I use change also.
Money is money and I love it all! lol
