Stop giving stuff like this attention. This is why people going doing things like this. They know it will get them attention. What is wrong with you people? You are as bad as they are for basically encouraging it ! Stop rewarding bad behavior !

I've been saying ever since our daughters were in school that they need to have metal detectors at all the school entrances and security guards patrolling regularly.  Back then, kids were carrying knives to school in jr. high quite a bit.  Metal detectors would help a lot I think.  A few times while my girls were in school I would get word that some gang or somebody had a gun or knife at school;  I would leave work and go to the school to check on the safety of my girls.  Those were not easy years for my girls nor for their parents.  A child should not have to worry about their own personal safety at school.  Its just way too sad what happened in Connecticut.  My heart and prayers go out to the people of that town and the parents and families of the victums.

I just don't understand what is wrong with people lately.   :BangHead:  How in the world can anyone shoot innocent people, I don't care if they are children or adults, it's sad that they are kids but a life is a life.  It makes you wonder what is happening in today's society.  How can these poor parents go on?  It has to be hard enough to lose a child, but this has to be the worst time.  Just think how these parents must feel when they look at the wrapped gifts Santa was going to give their children in a few days.  My heart goes out to the families of the children and the staff who won't be spending Christmas this year.  :sad1: :sad1:

I don't think many people realize how low someone has to stoop to think they are justified in killing a kid.  You have to be the most evil, insensitive, and plainly insane idiot to do something like that.  A person who does things that should not be allowed to exist in society. It makes me sick to think there are othr people like that in the world.

i felt so sick when i heard about what happened..my grandson is in first grade, and school is where most kids feel the safest, and now that has been taken away from them.  our president was wiping tears from his eyes, and it was the saddest thing since 911.

Ok, "Cuppycake", America does not "reward" bad behavior. The reason things like this get attention is because there is loss of life of innocent victims. What is wrong with us, well, for one we have people like you who obviously dont give a crap that things like this happen and say its everyone else's fault. You should be ashamed to even think that because someone cares what happened to these kids, that people are in part responsible for evil acts such as this! What is your problem?!

And another thing "Cuppycake", if that is your attitude towards this terrible act, are you saying that we invited 9/11???!!!! If you think this, you should pack your bags and LEAVE America, because you can't even express sympathy for murder victims, and you can't be a real American and NOT INSULT YOUR COUNTRY!

Yes, all we can do is pray, and hold our children close. Hopefully you have the means to protect them if need be. I just hate these *bleep*...  so bad, especially during a time that our children are looking forward to. Christmas. Yes our prayers go out to the families, I just can not imagine their grief. God Bless them all so much. May this insanity end.

My heart and prayers go out to all the families and their children.  There was children that witness their friends and teacher being killed.  They will need our prayers too.  Losing a child is the worst thing to happen to a family, too.  I pray good gives them peace this season.  Our God is a loving God and he gave us a choose, it is a shame that some people make the evil one.  What is the world coming to?
I beleive we need someone at every school with a gun.  If they change the laws about guns it will only be the good people without them.
God Bless Everyone
Merry Christmas

I am so sad, first for the Shooting in my state of Oregon at a mall, but not as devastating as in Connectut.  (sp), not sure how to spell sometimes. My Heart goes out to the families. I have a grandson and granddaughter ages 9 and 10. My God, I don't or even can imagine how I would feel, let alone my daughters and son in laws. I am crying as I write this as I feel so deeply about what has happened.

I don't have much money, but I will help support in what ever way I can . I am still devastated by the victims of Sandy.   Great, keep on trucking, keep on touching keep on loving, keep on supporting our great country and people. God Bless to all.
A national movement has begun to wear blue and yellow or green and white on Mon., Dec. 17 in support of Newtown, Conn. Blue and yellow are the colors of Sandy Hook Elementary School. I do not know what green and white represents.

Giving shootings media coverage causes more shootings... So yeah the problem lies with you.

Yes alot of sad events going on in the world.  Not that there would be a better time but I am sure it is almost worse here at Christmas because some folks have decorations and presents to make them even sadder about their children or relatives of the adults.  Very sad.
