Anyone else suffer from frequent foot cramps at night? Like a charlie horse cramp in your arch. It is awful. Ideas?

Eat a spoonful of mustard. Taste bad but it helps. Don't know why or how but it does for me anyway.

I only get them occassionally .. not enough to worry about them.
I'm work standing on my feet so it is just an occupational hazard for me.

Oh, yeah, I've been there - even had foot cramps in my toes!!!  The best I can offer would be do some research on vitamins - certain vitamins are necessary for muscles, nerves, tendons, etc.  Maybe you need to ramp up on whichever one you might not be getting enough of.  Also walking the cramp out sometimes helps.  Good luck!!

I have suffered with a great deal of foot problems over the past year, I am constatly on the internet looking up remedies and trying them, not sure about foot cramps, but I wrap my feet in apple cider vinegar soaked cheese cloth and that offers me some relief. :icon_rr:

I have and I know they're painful.  I've always heard that you should eat bananas, because your body is lacking in either potassium or magnesium.   :peace:

I get foot cramps once in a while, and I think it is because of some vitamin deficiency.

I used to get those and boy would I jump out of bed quick!  My toe would just about stand up straight, and my arch would knot up, oh boy!  I don't get them much anymore, knock on wood!

My doctor prescribed antacid tablets for a cheap source of calcium.  My cramps started with menopause and just kept getting worse but I don't have them much anymore.  I take 4 antacid tablets a day (after meals).
