I'm sorry that you broke your wrist! It always sucks to hurt your dominant hand. I hope you get better soon.

I fractured my wrist last spring when I fell but being on Medicare I couldn't get a cast on it except if I paid for it myself so I just had to spend 7 weeks with the carpal tunnel brace on it instead of 3 weeks with a cast.  It worked but I think that I'll be covered only for minimal things in the future with the huge cuts in Medicare and my age even though I'm in reasonably good health.

Anything broken is never any fun!  I broke my nose when I was 11 and I broke my foot seven years ago right after Christmas.

Ouch, I'm sorry to hear that :( Makes it worse that it's your dominate hand. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

I am so sorry to hear that.  Breaking the wrist of the dominant hand will present many challenges, I'm sure.  Good luck.

Never broken anything, but I can't imagine it's any fun.  Hopefully you can get it taken care of.  I would hate to not be able to use my dominant hand.  I have a cut on my thumb right not that's making it hurt whenever I hit the space button and it's driving me up the wall having to hit it with my other thumb, can't imagine what you're going through not being able to use your hand.

I am so sorry! That can be so painful I know! I broke my wrist when I was younger, it was the only bone I have ever broke and it was so painful. I hope it feels better soon!

Big time bummer!  Right before the Holidays!  I broke my foot two years ago and had never really appreciated the little things in life like showers, walking, dressing, staying skinny.  I have also broken my wrist and you can add a prior-to-injury lack of appreciation for washing your hair, typing, getting things out of your pocket, cleaning yourself after doo-doos (LOL), wrapping presents and...yes...typing your fusioncash entries! I hpe that your recovery is much faster than mine (you look younger)..My foot took seven months to fully reset and I developed a clot that took over a year to get rid of! Yuck!!! I am just getting back into shape now and never want to go through that again!
