I managed a clothing store and after I cashed my check, an employee found my purse and took my money. She denied it but she is the only one could have done it.

Yes. Once years ago when I moved out of state. I put all my worldly possessions in a storage unit.  While I was out of state, my storage unit was totally wiped out!  My whole life up to that point was gone!  Even all my
family albums.  Don't know what the theif wanted with those, but gone never the less.  It was years ago and I still get misty when I think about it.  Whoever took it all must of needed it more than I did.  Oh well

My wedding ring was stolen.  I was pregnant with my second child and my figers were swollen and I couldn't wear it.
I kept it in my jewelry box.  We came home one evening and the door was ajar and the house was trashed. 
My jewelry box sat on the floor empty.

when i lived in my apartment in the 90's i was robbed twice in 6 months.  my items were never recovered and no one ever got into trouble for it.it was a darn shame and then my 2001 dodge intrepid was stolen in 2009.  i had just paid it off a few months before and dropped my full coverage to liability.   i never got compenstated for that either, but  the guy did do 2 yrs for stealing it.

Years ago, my apartment was broken into, we believe by the addict brother of one of my upstairs neighbors.  The craziest part about it was the fact that they also went into the fridge and got something to eat and drink while in there.

Many years ago, our house was robbed twice - same house.  The police seemed to think some neighborhood kids did it.  Of course, we never got anything back.   We thought this was a quiet neighborhood.  The worst part was they took 2 pistols.   We never replaced the pistols because we had a baby, and we didn't want guns in the house then.  We also moved shortly afterward.

I was robbed one time for the last of the money that I had and I was gonna use it to get my daughter some diapers

My home has been robbed twice over the years and my car twice. I feel pretty fortunate that they were all pretty minor incidents.
