Probably because they don't believe you can earn money online for FREE.

I have done plenty of surveys that have turned out to be scams on other sites. This web site is not a scam as fare as I can tell. I have been using this site about six months though and made around fifty dollars. Thats a long time to wait for not that much. You have to be patient and put in the effort knowing it wont result in much. To me its something so I figure go for it.

Well, it's not free money, but FC gives a % of the earnings from clicking on ad banners and such to you for doing it.  I'd just explain to them it's not a get rich quick scheme.  It's more of a type of site that you can work towards buying an extra couple of blu-ray's to add to your movie collection each year or something along those lines.

It sounds too good to be true....plus sometimes when you do a survey, you don't get credited.  If people give up easily and don't press on, they won't see that the majority you do get credited for.

People feel a lot of things are scams. It makes them feel good to ignore reality, life is difficult as you well know. I show my checks, pre-paid Visa cards, debit cards and earnings in PayPal, to people who tell me online money is a scam. I got all of those reading the forum notes from FusionCash. Sometimes you have results like I had last year; after doing tens of survey's on a site I will not name, I threw in the towel. I did not earn one point or dollar for all the surveys I took. Then I came online and read a review by an "expert" on Yahoo, saying FusionCash did not work. The reason I came back to surveys, is I made a full time living doing MLM for many years. Every where I turn I see MLM is a scam, since I know that is not so, I reasoned FusionCash may be real. People say things are a scam when they cannot or will not do them.

I would say people most likely think it is a scam because it takes a little effort, time, and patience to earn money on fusion cash. There are plenty of other scam sites out there, so it is easy to lump fusion cash into the same category. However, this website is anything but a scam. I love having a little extra spending money here and there.

They don't want to take the time to learn all the ways to make money.  They just want to sign in and expect money to jump into their account.  You have to do simple work for your money!!  It's easier for them to say it is a scam then take the time to find out that it isn't.

Much discussion on the internet can best be described as a large shared pool of ignorance.  There is some of that on this discussion board too.  On the internet anyone can be an expert on anything even if they have no idea.

In the case of FC, if one person doesn't like one thing about the site (i.e. the fact that they have to wait for a cash out, or don't get paid for a survey, etc), then they can react emotionally and say that FC is a scam.  Someone else then decides to believe what they wrote and call it a scam as well because  in the words of Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap: "I believe virtually everything that I read."

All it takes to be an expert online is a keyboard and a connection.

I know that some people consider things a scam simple because they didn't earn money the way they anticipated.  If all you do is surveys and you get denied on all of them, it makes sense that people might assume it's a scam since all their work didn't earn them anything.  What they don't realize is that they aren't trying to earn with the other methods.  It doesn't matter that they got the $0.15 from the PTC, the surveys didn't pay out so it's a scam in their minds.

Some of it is the fact it isn't instant payout, or that it's a high payout, or that you need $15 in offers to get a payout so they can't just refer a bunch of people and not work to get paid.  When I first tried to cash out, I think one of my referral bonuses was denied, dropping my money below $25, and thus denying my cashout.  I could've assumed it was a scam based on that cause they found some strange reason to deny my cashout.  Instead I kept going and realized it was just something that I had to deal with on this site.

Some of it is also that you have to put some effort into this site.  One of the sites I'm on can earn 20 cents a day and the minimum cashout is 60 cents instantly to Paypal.  So waiting a month or two for enough to hit the $25 limit is hard for some, even worse is the fact you won't get paid till a month later.  Another site I joined just raised the limit to cashout to $2 instead of $0.10 and people are complaining about how it's going to take forever to earn that much.  So, again, imagine waiting for $25 instead of $0.10.

Some of it is they would rather believe it is a scam instead of believing they are missing out on something that could be earning them some money.  I earned about $100 in a year here.  That's not a ton, but it beats nothing in my mind.  Think of how many people could use an extra $100 a year for doing a few simple things they already do online.

FC is definitely not a SCAM.  If there is one misleading thing about it, it would be how easy they make it sound when soliciting subscribers.  It takes a lot of work and you don't really make the large sums of money you are led to believe you will make but if you're home doing nothing anyway, it gives you an opportunity to use your time to make a little money.  I guess it's all in the way you look at it.

I think they call it a scam because, from an hourly perspective, most people make less than minimum wage.  I am very happy with the amount of money that I make at Fusioncash especially given the amount of work, and effort, that I put into it.  Fusioncash helps me keep the value of money in perspective, improves my writing/typing skills, and pays me to do it!  Every three or four months I cash out and that money is invested in something worthwhile so that I can keep making money off of my original efforts.  I am thankful for fusioncash and feel that it is one of the best sites that I visit.  It took me several months to narrow down the sites that I can trust.

Minimum wage does NOT apply here for me, because it's NOT a wage. It's FREE MONEY I get for having fun doing what I like to do. I think of being online earning money as a hobby, so if you take the money I could be spending on another hobby (like golf) as avoiding a negative cash flow and add on what I earn doing my current hobby as a positive one, the total can be much higher than minimum wage.
