How much food do you have a supply of

Six gallons of water can last you for how long? I don’t think it’s enough for a month if it is for more than one person. Maybe 2-3 days at most to get by if it is for what people like to call it Doomsday. I don’t have anything stock up for Dec. 21st. Earth is still going to be here for another 10K years.

Probably only have enough to last a week or two.  We have hurricanes in our area, but there's always a warning for those, and we go get things beforehand.

I don't really have a supply of food. It's really difficult to keep any food in the house, IF we even get to get any groceries to begin with.

We don't have any stockpiled.  We could probably squeeze a few weeks out of what we do have.

This type of thing terrifies me. I am the type of person who would prepare for this type of situation. What terrifies me is that the ones who would not may attack and even kill others to get their supplies. What most of you who do this do not understand is that this would put you in greater danger because you go around telling people you have these supplies so where do you think people who have never known hunger will go when there are no food supplies. They are coming to you!

Ialways have a few weeks worth of food in the house. Its not for emergency...I just happen to over do it at the grocery store!!

I like to have a back up for everything, so I always replace things when I open them. I hate to run out of anything so this system works for me.

I probably have enough food to get by for awhile but after a couple of weeks I'd be in trouble.  I do have a lot of water saved.

If I ever have any extra food, it is always give away before the next week, There always people hungry were we live.   we might have to go back to rabbit and squirrel here.

I try to keep enough food for about a month.  It is just a habit, we lived for a while in an area where snow would be so bad that sometimes you would be stuck for several days.  Also, if I am under the weather I don't have to rush to the store, we have something in the freezer or pantry that we can prepare.

Freezer food a lot, maybe six or more month worth. If the electricity is on. My father used to shop only once per month for major stuff, then runs for fresh food, vegetables and fruit. So we all learned form him. And a friend taught how to save lots of money on food. My great grandmother was a cook so "we" all can cook well. Lots of can goods, which I don't normally eat just to rotate them out. And lot dry food like beans.  A lot of deals!

I have some can goods, flour and some canned meat.  Also some distilled water.  Why I don't know!

What is with these doomsday naysayers?  I feel that no matter what you think you are prepared for, it's not going to be enough when God is control.
