How much food do you have a supply of

we have about a months worth and them about 6 gallons of water

Just about a weeks worth and no water a few water bottles.Is this in case of an emergency or the end of the world prediction? I should get more food especially chocolate and coffee.Living in ca we should always be ready but really not.

oh man i dont have a supply of chocolate and no its just in case of emergency or if the kids come over and need to "shop for food" at my house thankfully it rarely happens now a days  and is alot easier to laugh about

A couple days of canned food and water bottles. I don't think we are ready for that kind of thing. Regardless in an emergent situation we will all have to do with what we have and fend for more regardless of what we DO have prepared.

I have lived where winter weather cause roads to be shut and power outages for days I got in the habit of having about a months worth of food and water just in case. I don't keep anything fancy just staple that we use so nothing goes bad. Even though we have moved it was just easier to keep that up, I just rotate the things and presto easy meals even if you don't get to the store.

We only stock up on non-perishables if we know a storm is coming. We do always keep means to water, though. It's more likely that a pipe will burst and the water will be shut off someday.

Now that the hurricne season has ended - we will clean out the cupboards -  And have maybe a weeks worth.  During the season, we stock more and of course always have water availalbe.

I have enough to feed my family and some more for several months depending on how many i feed. Several cases of water and wather filters. Never know what is going to happen. I also have a lot of home canned fruit and veges. I am not a preppie but do believe in being prepared. We have had out highways closed. Not because it was so bad here but a hundred miles away the highway could be a sheet of ice and nothing is going to come through, Those that here can and have been stranded for several days and they need help also. Right now i could enjoy haveing a small snow storm or rain it is so dry.

      Because of overpopulation and scarcity of some food stuff, I live from day to day. Live and let live!

My family has a lot of quick perishables, but we also have a good supply of can food and other items that could extend us a month. Hopefully we will never hit a point in our lives in the immediate future to rely this way. I wish I had the supply space (and funds) to do what the father character did in "Blast from the Past."

We like in an apartment so we go shopping about every two weeks.

Because of how I was raised I have about 7 months worth of food and water filters to purify the rain water that I have collected around my house.
