« on: December 01, 2012, 09:54:25 pm »

Is there any one born on Pearl Harbor Day? December 7th.

Besides me?

:)

I was born 53 years after the bombing of pearl harbor.

I love my birth date.

No one in my family was born on Pearl Harbor, but one of my relatives served at Pearl Harbor at that horrible time.

I do not have any family member born on the 7th.  The bombing of Pearl Harbor is a sad time to remember.  Well, enjoy your birthday.

I have a friend from high school who was born on December 7th. One thing about it, I'll never forget what day his birthday is.

I used to look at the calendar and go.. Aww, cool. Pearl Harbor Day.

It wasn't until middle school when i actually learned what happened that day 53 years before i was born.

My husband was stationed at Hickam Air Force base which is next door to Pearl Harbor and, at back in the 60's, still bore the scars of the bombing. Standing on the Arizona Memorial and looking down at the ship gives you pause  :'(

I have a brother in law that was born at 12:32am on Dec 8th 1941, I will always remember that because he told me that his mother went into labor when she heard of the Bombing and delivered him 32 mins after that date.

Standing the the Arizona Memorial does give you pause to stop and think and remember what it was all about. No one I know was born on Dec. 7 but I had 2 uncles that were stationed at Pearl Harbor that day and Praise God they made it through that tragedy.
