problem with fc account

I have a problem that I would like to have resolved please. This has happend to me twice at diffrent times. I clicked on the news icon in the daily clicks and *bleep* popped up. This also happend while here in the forum,when I cliked on a message from the admin. This is discusting, I DO NOT want to see this nastyness.Please fix this issue so this dosn't happen again. Has this happend to anyone else. I have antivirus that is working very well. No viruses.

First:  this is not happening to me on FC, so I'm not sure what you are seeing, except that it's something you do not what to see and do not expect to see on this site.

I frequently experience PTC ads that have been hyjacked or contain framebreakers or other nuisance activities that are not always the fault of the advertiser or the website showing the ad.  Telling the admin of the website  and giving them the title of the ad/offer sometimes allows the admin to remove or adjust the ad so the offensive process or material can be removed.  Sometimes it can't.

In your case, I suggest that you copy the address of the offensive website (right click copy the address from the address block) and paste it in a ticket to Support -- along with any additional information about what offer/ad etc you were clicking on right before the new bad page showed up.

Support needs some help from you in trying to locate the problem  and, even with this information, they may not be able to find the root of the problem.

If this happens frequently (especially if it happens in various locations on FC or on other sites), consider the possibility that the problem is in your PC. 
Clear your temps and cookies.
Run CCleaner if you have it
Do a full scan using Malwarebyte and/or your security program to check your system for malware and/or viruses. Even the best security system can't keep up with the baddies.

Only in the past two weeks have I had some XXX site pop up and I figured I must have clicked on something accidentally. I now try to pay a little more attention to what I am clicking and since I have I haven't had it happen again, but I will let you know if it happens again and perhaps do a screen capture and forward to support in order to help anyone else who is experiencing the same thing.

I have not had that happen on this site but I am sure if the admin sees this they would want more info to be able to track it down.  It could be a virus though.  Just because you have anti virus doesn't mean you can't have a virus.  Nothing is foolproof.  I had a toolbar that was an add on to Firefox.  It was causing constant pop ups.  (It was not FC toolbar.)  It took me forever to figure out that the toolbar was the cause.  No antivirus found it and no spyware program found it.  I just finally started disabling add ons until it stopped.

They have added a new feature recently to hide "adult" tasks, it might help though you will miss out on a lot of listed tasks by checking it.  Otherwise I'd say that somebody has hijacked the real task and put up those nasty sites/pics...its not hard to do either.

Go back to the Support section (or the section of the Forum that is relative to the thread you want to start)

On the top right side of the page is a blue link "Start New Topic".  Click it.  You need to put a title in the title box and then your comments or question in the body of the thread.

It definitely sounds like you have some sort of virus. Sometimes antivirus programs don't catch the viruses. I had one last year that I had to go in and find myself because my antivirus program could not get rid of it. A virus can attach to a file that looks safe, so the antivirus program overlooks it.

You are not the only one.  It happens to me also. It first started every time I went to pdc and clicked on weather, then it just happened every time I did pdc. So I stopped. I don't want to see that!!! Now it sometimes shows up when I click on other things in FC. It just happened when I clicked to come to forums to post on something else, but here I am now.  It only happens when I'm in FC. Not any other time.

It is frustrating, because I am loosing money. I don't want to see that kind of stuff.

I have run antivirus many times and nothing. It only happens through FC. I will take advise and copy links and pass onto support. I don't know what else to do.
