As many as possible lol! We only have one in our home right now but we have several other weapons. We are planning on getting at least 2 more and one for my oldest daughter.

How many guns should a person have? As many as they can afford! There shouldn't be a limit, any more than there should be a limit on any other thing people collect. As long as the people aren't neglecting their families and their bills, there is nothing wrong with buying a bunch of guns. I've heard of some (very rich!) collectors who have hundreds of guns! They probably don't ever shoot most of them, though, so at least they don't have to buy ammo for all those guns.
I don't have nearly 10, but it sure would be nice. I put aside a small amount of money each week from my paycheck, so slowly but surely I save up until I have money to get another one. The problem is, with the political situation, gun prices have skyrocketed, and it's very difficult to get a good buy. The prices go up faster than my savings do!

There shouldn't be a limit.  As long as you can afford it and have the space for it. Of course, make sure it's keep under lock and key so no can get to it without permission...especially if you got kids around.

As many as one can own and the ammo to go with it there should not be a limit and no way should anyone try to take them away!

I don't think there should be any limit.  I believe that would go against our rights.  I know people that have more than ten because they are hunters or collecters.  To each their own with their reasons for owning guns....it is their right and that should remain that way.

I think that is their own business, and if they want 10 or 20 or more than SO BE IT! lol
As long as they are all properly taken care of it shouldn't have a limit!

I have to think if Belcher wouldn't of had a gun, his girlfriend wouldn't be dead, oh yeah, conceal and carry sure, so ticked off boyfriends and husbands, and I am sure there is a small percentage of girlfriends and wives that get mad, having an anger problem, that they get heated up in the moment, and because they have that gun on them, bang...and that is how it ends. I don't like them. Poor baby has no mother or father now. Yeah, that is guns for you.

The gun only made it easier for the acts to be committed. He could have used a knife or his bare hands to perform the first killing and then drove off a cliff to end his life. People have the right to own as many weapons as they feel they need. Unfortunately common sense sometimes is not used when a weapon is in a person's hand.

There have been many incidents in our area where angry boyfriends/ husbands stabbed their girfriends/ wives to death, so that is not a good argument. In fact recently a boyfriend beating his girlfriend to death! So if they want to do it, they'll do it, whether or not they have a gun. Anything can be a weapon in the hands of a madman.

Riiigghhht...'cause a big, bulky football player would really struggle to kill a woman with his bare hands. What dream world are you living in?

There's more than one way to eat a Reese's...likewise, there's more than one way to kill someone "in the heat of the moment". Don't blame the gun; blame the person.

Normal people should be allowed to have as many guns as they want.

Depends on the reason they have them.  For collectors I think it would be natural to have many.  But for self defense, I thin one would be enough.

Try to remember two things.

1.  It's not the GUN that did the killing, it's the PERSON holding the gun.  A gun is an inanimate object and can't kill on it's own.

2.  A criminal will find the weapon of his/her choice, whether they're legal or ILLEGAL, which would leave YOU, DEFENSELESS.

I'd like to know how you would feel if someone who was armed broke in to your home.  What would you do if you didn't have a weapon to protect you and yours?  Surrender?
