we do but i have a friend that refuses to eat things that she cooked the night before so i told her not to cook so much there are to many people out in the world that do not have anything to eat

It's always been a practice in my house to eat leftovers, although I will admit sometimes I have to be creative when serving them.  Kids generally don't like leftovers so, camouflage comes in handy!!!!  Otherwise, I get stuck eating the leftovers by myself!!!!

Yes I eat leftovers.  When you live alone it is difficult to cook for just one person so you will have leftovers and there is no other option but to eat them.  Food costs too much to throw away.

I do, but my husband will not and I end up throwing so much food away, it makes me so mad, that he snubs leftovers, it is hard to make just the right amount, and then I have to throw everything away.

leftovers usually taste better than the original meal because all the seasoning fully permeates the food.

I eat leftovers 90% of the time. There are certain dishes that just do not reheat well (mainly pasta dishes) that I have trouble stomaching as leftovers, but I still eat those on occasion too. I'm not in much of a position to waste food. I hope your friend makes small portions!

I would ask my friend to give me her leftovers.  Many years ago my mother said her sister's family threw away enough food after a meal to feed our little family.  Waste not, want not.

I don't understand people who don't eat leftovers. That's just wasteful. I guess if they really hate eating leftovers though, cooking smaller portions is the way to go.
