Have you ever found something really valuable?

I just finished reading about a heating/ventilation worker who discovered twelve jars of gold dust valued at three hundred thousand dollars! I had people, at a health club that I used to work at, that turned in a twenty five thousand dollar engagement ring and another person turned in a wad of bills totalling three hundred and fifty dollars!  The most that I have ever found was a twenty dollar bill(if I thought there were a chance of finding the owner I would make the effort) and I was totally excited about that! Kind of put me in perspective because I am typing this entry which is worth roughly ten cents because I need to post thirty times in order to earn three dollars.  Every penny counts!

i went to a festival and in the flea market section i found a 1962 gisselle doll by ideal.  it is in the ideal tammy family of dolls and i only paid a quarter, and i can sell her for about 60 to a serious collector, but im keeping her for my own

You sure found some great finds! I can't really compare to your finds in value. The best thing I have found was a textbook. It was in good condition and had no name. The professors and staff of the school told me that they probably couldn't do much to find the owner. I decided to sell it and receive a decent 80 bucks from it.

Not really.
I found a 20 dollar bill once in a grocery store. I found a confederate unfired musket bullet.

Nothing as of late, but one of my earlier fondest memories was to put down money when I was younger on an 1 single older baseball pack and finding a baseball card worth $100+ of dollars (at least what was priced on Beckett). I never sold the card, but was ecstatic at the time. I sometimes wish I had sold as the card has devalued.

One night I went to a Parents Without Partners dance and found a wife that has lasted me over 40 years and counting. I can't begin to add up how much she was worth.
