College App
« on: November 24, 2012, 10:31:08 am »

So YAY! I finally submitted my UC applications.

It feels so... REAL now.

It makes me so sad too. It's feels like i'm not allowed to be a child anymore
after this year is over.

I have to grow up.. :'(

Nothing bad, it's just.. Independence consists of so many things from, being YOU, to doing what you want, to responsibilities to hardships. xD

WHooooo. the first few years will be hard for me.

My daughter, a high school sophomore, just finished her college scout soccer profile...it took her two hours with do overs.  She has been taking ACT/SAT practice tests for a year now and I have been pushing her to start applying for scholarships and grants.  Her brother is two years younger and will be a freshman next year.  He has been focusing on his sport, LaCrosse, and community service projects so that his application is a bit more well-rounded.  Daughter is pushing to be valedictorian so she has less time to do the community service side.  It is crazy what you have to go through to get into a nice college.  Congratulations on your steps forward!
