Why is wine serve with dinner

Why when you go see him be cooking on TV and things they always serving alcohol with their meals I like wine and beer stop don't they know that that is harmful all out war to them and pay other people. And sandbags ammo for our children so they can become alcoholics which is a very addictive drug everything they show on TV a week with wine don't they know I still think they should serve wine with everything I should serve some nonalcoholic beverages some other time so our children will can see that there is other things besides alcohol to drink with a meal

I personally don't like to drink wine, mixed drinks, or beer with a meal.  To me, alcohol just doesn't go well with food.  My husband, on the other hand loves to drink with his food.  He mostly drinks beer with whatever he is eating.  Yuck!!  As far as ours kids go, they are all grown and gone but I never drank when they were around.  Even now, I won't drink while the grandkids are here.  I like to have a glass of wine before supper in the evenings but that's about the extent of my drinking.
