Love Talk
« on: November 16, 2012, 01:24:54 pm »
I grew up in a very rural Native American populated town in Kentucky. Where I grew up men didn't cheat on women and see them as an disposible object. Living in Colorado I see a lot of men using women and dropping them and women lining up to volunteer in it. Why are city men more apt to be like that? What happened to caring about people. I had a boyfreind who passed away in my early adult years who was British. He would hold the door open and I knew I was the only one on his mind. I never had a doubt. When he passed away it felt like I died with him. As I grew older I meet my husband. He has a lot of kind tendancies and is also from the country. My city freinds, however, seem like they have a lot of problems just being faithful. I am convinced people do not know what love is like they used too. When I was young I thought Alexander would be my only. It was that strong. I guess your first love is always like that. Well thats my ramble lol. What do you all think?

While only a few may say anything about spelling errors, it doesn't bother me.  We never know a person's situation and shouldn't judge.  I mostly look past and instead, read what the person is actually sharing with everyone.

I know that since I was a youngster, that there are more divorces, living together, and less longer marriages.  Not all, of course, but enough to notice, that through the years, things like that have changed for many and are setting new trends.

I'm glad you have a special someone, your husband, and that you did before your boyfriend back then died - so sorry for your loss from then.  I am very grateful for my hubby - I don't take for granted the closeness we have.
