What is the most money you have ever made on Ebay selling an item. I just made 400.00 selling some toys from the 80s.

Wow, nice. What toys were you selling to make that much. I want to sell stuff on Ebay. I am all confused about all the fees and stuff. I am in the process of moving so I do not have alot of time to study how ebay works yet.

Transformers, GI Joes, Star Wars and some other 80s stuff I had from when I was a kid. As far as the fees, after you sell something, I think Ebay takes about 7% of your sales. Paypal takes a small % also. Also you have to learn alot about the shipping, about how much to charge and other things that go along with it all. It takes a while to learn everything but alot of the stuff you learn, you can use for other things especially all the shipping methods.

I wish I could say I made that much. I've been selling on ebay since 10-27-2011 and have made 22 sales. The biggest sale I made was of a Seagate 1.5 tb external drive that was manufacturer refurbished and sold for $70 with $7 shipping. It sold in a little over 2 hours.  :o I wish I had a whole house full of those babies. LOL.  ;D

I have sold old purses and vintage concert tees for a few hundred bucks. It is very risky in my opinion to sell high dollar stuff on eBay, there are a lot of crooked people out there that will take advantage of the smaller sellers.

I have never sold anything on ebay, but I plan to start soon. As another member mentioned, most of the stuff about selling on ebay is confusing.

I do more buying than selling. I just bought a Dell laptop advertised as being for parts only and put a USB stick in it with Linux and Firefox to do my traffic exchange surfing while I watch TV. It runs fine and now the spyware and virus creeps can't reach my Windows.

I don't understand how to use Ebay so, I was lucky to come across a site called Listia. Its so easy to use and understand that I bet a 5th grader can use it. I also wish I kept my toys from when I was a kid but, I lost track of them and who knows where they at now.

I made an eBay account a few months ago to buy pants but I didn't understand how the money transferring would work since I don't have PayPal; I just gave up and deleted the account.   :/
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

A better choice would have been to just get a free PayPal account.

I've bought through ebay for years.  Now we have a great opportunity to sell some things on there.  I'm reading through, trying to understand how to set up as a seller.  I'm actually looking forward to it.

I use eBay as a yard sale for an introvert (me), however; I haven't made an effort to create a listing on that site for a while.  I sold a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tablet computer on Amazon.com last month for $295.

Sometimes it's easier for me to list on Amazon.
Have a great day!
