I think we could survive without it, however, we would be a lot of unhappy people.  It is just too convenient to pull into a drive thru and not worry about cooking all the time.

I think this population should get used to cooking more often because at the rate we are going the average family would not be able to afford buying Mcdonald's everyday.  Sooner or later Mcdonalds and other fast food chains will be getting less customers. 

Bad News: No more delicious hamburgers and fries.

Good News: Skinnier generations to come.  More people will actually learn how to cook.
