I think this country CANNOT survive without fast food. Now a days is hard to get home and make dinner everyday.
The life style that many of us has makes it difficult. That's why it's easier to grab a MacDonalds when you are tired or don't know what to cook.

i  think you are right to an extent.  we have cut down to once a week.  it was harder for my husband.  but it is much better for the kids and the rest of us too.

I agree by the time I am done with work and house chores I can either cook or have a little bit of time for myself.  It is so easy to choose not to cook, however my husband and I have cut back on fast food to only a few times a month.  I think we could get by without it, but it sure is convenient for a quick meal when we need one.

Yes, the poplulation could survive without fast food.  Once upon a time there were no such thing as a fast food emporium.  Its all in your motivation.

I think the US population would live longer without fast food. I mean think about all the chemical enhancers they put in food just to make it taste good! That cant be good.

i think the population would survive without fast food, kinda hard at first but would get used to it since the early people don't have that.

Hopefully yes but very unlikely cuz it will be too hard to ask those fat/unhealthy people to quit what they have been doing for so long.
However, if you ever pay attention to those label, you might be amazed or shocked what you have put in your mouth.

I think that I could survive but I've always enjoyed a home cook meal over fast food any day.My husband and I cut back to a couple of times a week,maybe during lunch.But we eventually cut back altogether because I realize that we could eat really good if we took the money we spent at fast food places and put into groceries at home.
We have busy lives and sometimes never know if we're going to have time to cook the next day but compromise and plan ahead of time and all will be good...that's why we have crock pots..lol

No, but I think the US needs to attempt to live without fast food.  It would never happen.  Not even considering the fact that the fast food companies would pull something that would keep them from closing, but people have convinced themselves that they have to live off of fast food.  We have added too much into our lives and do not want to take the time to prepare food.  If it were not for fast food there would be less health problems, but that will not matter because that point affects the bottom line for fast food companies.

Haha, I don't think they could at this point.  Like the saying goes: Junk food tastes so good because it's bad for you.  Fat = flavor.  We're naturally addicted to the taste of things that aren't good for us at all.

Generally all here including kids are used to eat (junk)fast foods so, i think u guys cant survive but, i am from india and am not yet started with the way guys u all eat i still cook everyday n we are used to eat only home cooked food and also very health concious particularly my hubby so, v rarely eat outside atleast for him i had to cook even v all eat outside....
