Good versus I've found in the bible so far:
« on: November 13, 2012, 09:58:34 am »
I know this will probably send falcon9 into another factual 'lesson plan' but I'm doing it anyways because I want to share!

I know everyone has their free will, but PLEASE if you are only here for reasons other that positive comments or additional insight, please go to another post.

Like I said, I read the bible for about 5 minutes a day, so I haven't gotten very far yet, yesterday I read for about 20 minutes because I actually had time.

Anyways, so the highlights of my reading so far have been as follows:

Genesis 2:7 - Then the Lord God formed man from the dust...(the same essential chemical elements are found in man and animal life that are in the soil.  This scientific fact was not known to man until recent times, but God was displaying it here.)

Genesis 4:7 - If you do well, will you not be accepted?  And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you, but you must master it.

I highlight my favorite versus - some versus that I don't highlight are good, but I try to only highlight things that are very interesting or things that I can apply to my life everyday!

 :notworthy:       :peace:       :D

First, it's verses not "versus". Second, some "good" can be found in just about any book...the Quran has many verses that you would find pleasant as well.

Your interpretation of Genesis 2:7 is very naive. You are stamping a layman's weak understanding of science all over it.
