how tall are you

i am 5'10 all my family is tall  and  my height i take after my dad he was 6'3

It's more like how short am I? I'm 5'2" when I stand up straight. My folks are 5'10" and 5'0" and my husband is 5'5" so my kids will probably be only 5'4" to 5'6".

I am the shortest one in my family at only 5'0"...My tallest female sibling is 5'6" and my little brother is the tallest of my brothers at 5'9". The rest of my siblings rage from 5'1" to 5'7". My father is 5'11" and my mother is 5'1", (the shortest of her siblings as well)...

That's why I have to marry a tall man. I want at least average height children, LOL...I refuse to date anyone under 6'0", but if love comes in a smaller package, then I'll just have to settle.

I am 5'5''. Many people say I look tall.
My immediate family is of medium height, but  my uncle and grandfather were over 6'.

So far I guess I got everybody that has posted beat I am the shortest 4'11". When someone ask me to describe a person I always start out with they are all, and after I finish they say that the person I described is not tall at all. I just want to know what is considered tall anyway. To me anyone that is taller than me is tall.

Well Debrar, seems we have something in common cause I am at 4ft 11in and not getting taller lol. The tallest person in my family is my nephew he is 18 and he stands at 6ft 3in. Most of my family on my dad side are shorties i have a aunt who is 4ft 10in. When I was young I would say I hope I get o be taller than her when I grow up. Well I guess 1 inch is better than nothing. We joke about it at Family gatherings. My Family on my mom side are sorta tall and short mixed. My son's father is 5'11 so at the moment my son is short but Im hoping he gets taller as he gets older.

I am 5'8" inches tall and my husband is 6'5". Our daughters are taking after their dad. The one who is almost 18 is already 5'11" and the ten year old four and half feet tall.
