Well, I don't hate politics.  Politics=History, and History is a lot more than just places and dates.  History has always fascinated me, and politics also interests me a great deal.  The history of politics in this country is really something, and often a hoot, once you really get into it.  This election just past will be studied pretty closely--that's my guess--and I wouldn't be surprised if a pretty-good book or two came out of it before all is said and done.

Another thing I'll be studying is the reaction of the Republican party to all this.  I just may be laying in a supply of popcorn for that.

I think both main parties have become a bit extreme, when most people are somewhere closer to the middle. It is a big tug-of-war in Congress. Nothing gets done.

The only thing that gets done these is whatever the 2 party dictatorship wants. Aside from the red meat they throw out to fire up their bases (abortion, gay marraige as examples) there's very littel difference between the two parties on the big stuff. I look at Obama and Romney and think "Seriously? This is the best this country could put forth?" Oh well, the financial day of reckoning is coming and all the "kick the can" down the road from both parties will come home to roost.

Right now i think the politics kinds suck, Already they are throwing good money after bad, sending millions overseas to countries that hate us, but will take all the money that is sent. They need to work it out between themselves and  lets get our country back up and growing. Also stay out of our private lives.  It's not that are most people are stupid or lazy they just need some incourging to get out and get a job. Some may even need a big push because they are so used to living on handouts, Oh well what do i know. I am just a tax paying person of the working class trying to get a head.

I think politics is interesting.  I used to think it as boring.  Watching this last election was better than watching an exciting sporting event.  If I had known it as going to be this entertaining, I would have had popcorn ready.

If you are a working tax payer, you'll have an awfully hard time getting ahead! Unfortunately the government doesn't want to give people that big push, because they like to have slaves that accept them in their private lives, so you and I will continue to foot the bill.

 if you are an american and you are not interested in politics you are passing up the very liberty and rights our soldiers have fought and died for since the beginning of this great country of ours. by not voting or not caring you are disrespecting everything our cpuntry stands and you certain ly should not complain if you are not willing to nothing to change the way things are
