Well the timing is obvious. Look at what is being released. His affair with a married woman, her husband knowing whats going on and also there is another woman involved besides the one he was cheating with. This actually started in Aug of 2011, so this has been going on for awhile and he probably wanted to release the news before anyone else. From the looks of it this is gonna get uglier and he did the right thing by stepping down.
