Thoughts about him being fired as head coach? What's next for Lakers?

They should have never hired Mike Brown.  They should have had Brian Shaw succeed Jackson.  He had worked with Jackson for years and had the trust of the players.  Shaw would not have tried to fix what wasn't broken.  I think the Lakers' best choices now are Phil Jackson, Jerry Sloan, or Jeff Van Gundy.  Sloan's offense could excel in LA with Nash playing the pick and roll.  That is if Kobe could buy into it.  A big question would be if Sloan could keep the team together.  He resigned after troubles with his star player, Deron Williams.  With the Lakers he would have Kobe and Dwight.  Then there's the headcase that is Artest and the man that needs constant measurement in Gasol.  Van Gundy would be interesting for many reasons.  He would be coaching the player that was the main reason for his brother's dismissal at Orlando (Dwight).  Offensively, I think the Lakers could buy into his philosophy.  Van Gundy teams were known for a lot of iso (Allan Houston and Letrell Sprewell at NY and Tracy McGrady at Houston) with a dominant big man (Patrick Ewing at NY and Yao Ming at Houston).

Mike brown did not work out because Kobe did not like him and that is why mike is gone.  Kobe is a big  baby that wants his way or no way.  He wants Phil Jackson back and will keep causing trouble for every coach until he gets what he wants.
