Some members choose to 'litter' and others try to post topics to the appropriate forums.  The "Off Topic" forum is the general miscellaneous place most topics get posted, ("Debate & Discuss" is a subforum of the Off Topics forum and posting there is more of a suggestion - or warning to enter at one's own risk - than a set "rule").

You are allowed to post about Politics and Religion in off topic. The D&D is for people wanting to debate.Off Topic is for people who want to make a point and leave it at that.(At least, most people ::))

That's incorrect.  There is no forum or subforum set aside for unopposed pronouncements, (religious or otherwise).  The Off Topic forum is for those topics which do not fall under any other forum subject matter, ("Feel free to talk about anything unrelated to FusionCash -- but keep it PG!").  The Debate & Discuss subforum of the Off Topic forum is listed as a place for contentious subject matter, (such as politics or religion), and is an 'enter at your own risk' subforum.

True, very true.  However, sometimes a simple "Thank God" or such comment can unintentionally become a D&D when posted in a thread about a simple, everyday topic.

That's because such an attribution to a hypothetical supernatural entity is false if no evidence to support the contention exists, and none does.  "FC" does not stand for "fundie xtian", it stand for "FusionCash".

Yes, superstitious religious beliefs are as tedious as they are self-deluding.

It doesn't surprise me (and shouldn't, and likely doesn't, surprise you, either) that you are seeing this. There are topics started/posted on the wrong boards all over the FC forum.

SUCH a simple thing, but many can't be bothered to take the time to do it correctly.

('Such a simple thing' - That may be part of the reason they don't bother to do so....they likely think "Eh, big deal. It doesn't matter where I post this")

How come it won't play?

It would certainly be nice if we didn't talk about those things but it does seem that there would be less to talk about, doesn't it?

I understand that some people seem to "litter" the Forum. I can see that all over the place!!From what I understand is the FC started the submenue of the off topics forum to place those posts there where so other people don't have to be innodated with Politics or religion, as you say "at your own risk". Not everyone wants to see arguments on religion and politics. It should remain in the subforum where it belongs so that you can enter or not enter "at your own risk"

While it would be 'nice' if members didn't strew political/religious posts all over not only the Off Topic forum, (outside of the D&D subforum meant for those contentious topics), but those show up in the Payments, FusionCash and otehr forums too ... alomst at random.  It's virtual liiter and never-ending since some people don't seem to care where they throw stuff.

This is true!!The only problem I have it did not used to be that way!!People pretty much followed the "so called rules" but, the more and more you get newbies, they don't seem to read the rules or abide by the wishes of other to keep it out of the specific area's to where it does not belong. I have only noticed that it is starting to get out of hand over the past few months and it is sought of aggrevating me!!I'm almost getting to the point that someone else mentioned, I am considering not even doing the posting anymore. I have been a member for over 2 1/2 years and it used to be where people respected other's opinions, now it seems that members just post anything - anywhere! This is why i made the suggestion that FC put out something again about following the Protocol!!
