What do you do with the plastic store bags

Maybe I'm a cheapskate, but I use them to line garbage cans in the bathrooms and bedrooms in my house rather than purchasing bags for those cans. I also take them to the library to carry my books home. When I go to the park, I use them to carry a picnic. Also, I wrap really stinky diapers in them when discarding diapers away from home. They come in handy when potty training kids have an accident.

I reuse the bags in every way I can think of.  Trash cans, etc.  When I remember, I take bags in for recycling.  I got a couple of those eco friendly reusable shopping bags in hopes of accumulating less bags, but I always forget to take them to the store.  Although I do use the reusable bags, it's never for the grocery store, so I end up with more plastic bags anyway.

I use reuseable bags when I shop but I always need  some plastic ones too. i use  them as trash bags for the bathroom. I always need bags to carry things so in a pinch I use those.I have any extra i bring to a local thrift shop and they use them as shopping bags for customers.

I use them for trash bags in small trash cans like the bathroom and also for scooping the cat litter and doggie duty in the yard.

I don't have that many but use them for garbage or to store some things in the garage.

I like the book cover idea - I have a cook book I can't live without, but it doesn't look very good anymore.  I wonder if they would make it shine again???  I'm going to try it

I use them for my boy's smelly diapers and for picking up small amounts of trash when cleaning out the car. My favorite thing to do with plastic bags is make plastic yarn. It's called plarn. I like to crochet and I'm making a bag out of it.

My aunt cuts them into strips and crochet rugs out of them. They are pretty nice for as weird as it sounds

I'm not very creative with my bags but I do save them and use them for putting together my fiancee's work lunches.

I never really thought of reusing them in other ways besides lining my trash can in bathroom and in my son room. We also put our recycle in them, then with those we give back to the store. I must say I do not really get any unless I forget to bring my cloth shopping store bags.

I also use mine to line my trash can.  Then I'm not spending money for trash can liners.  If I have excess bags I take them to "Care & Share" Food pantry or they end up in a recycling bin.

I don't think I'm ambitious enough to iron them.  

We also reuse bags in this way. The Walmart and Meijer bags are great for the kitchen because they are slightly longer. My mother had considered taking the excess bags to a place where they could be reused. However since they're used so frequently I don't think it's necessary right now.

i know of one family that is so poor that they use it to stuff the area around their back door to stop the cold air

Temporary garbage bag or recycle it.

first use is to line bathroom trash cans...next use is "collecting" dog poop in backyard...if I have a bunch at end of month, most go in the plastic recycle bin.

I use them as trash bags, I haven't bought actual trash bags in years.  When the collection of bags gets to be too much I recycle them at Walmart, for some reason whenever I put them in the recycling bins outside the recycling crew never take them
