Homeowner Study
« on: November 06, 2012, 07:18:45 am »
I rarely get upset when I am disqualified from a survey, but this one really bugged me.  I spend a good 20 minutes answering questions and got to the end of the survey.  I received a "thanks, thats all the questions we have for you".  Then, I got the FC "Sorry you did not meet the profile for this survey".  I did receive the .01 DQ bonus, but it is not about the $.

I feel that if a company conducting a survey is looking for a specific demographic, they need to be upfront about it, not DQ a survey participant after they give their thoughts on 50+ questions.  The very last question was "how many children under 18 live in your household".  My answer, as always was 0.  That is when the survey ended, so I have to believe they were looking for families with children.  If so ASK THAT FIRST!!!!!

Ok, I am done ranting.

That was an extremely long survey. I don't see why it would have mattered if you had kids or not since it had nothing to do with kids. Maybe you accidentally clicked yes to the children question in the beginning.  :dontknow: Maybe the survey was full before you got to the end.....which would be stupid because then they shouldn't have let you in in the first place. I would be angry too....especially with how long that survey took.

Since my "kids" are 52, 50 and 34, I doubt that I'd have inadvertly say I had kids under 18.  I honestly think they were looking for a younger demographic, which is fine....just dont waste my time with 20 minutes of a survey I was never going to qualify for anyway!  :)

On to bigger & better!

Oh, boy do I hear you loud and clear!!!!  I too have found that they take you through quite a bit of the survey before finally saying "sorry, blah, blah" and I agree they should at least be up-front and ask first or better yet, when you begin it would be best to say "this survey is intended for people who have families living at home" or whatever!!!!!!!!  I feel your pain!!!! :crybaby2:
