You can't own property in USA

Yeah it sucks, but without the property taxes, we would still be living and driving on dirt roads with no running water, or any of the other things we have so Sometimes i think we pay too much. But we do it. After all we have paid for the use of the property. But we do own the buildings that are built on this property.

yeah take it from  somebody  trying to get a shortsale done and facing foreclosure...not  to  mention taxes went  up  and i owe more than house is worth and may lose mineral rights too...and rent is just as expensive as a mortgage and public housing is a long waiting list for the ghetto...
