As far as animation goes I didn’t much care for big hero six nor finding Dory.  That was actually a disappointment since I love Ellen Ellen DeGeneres  in finding Nemo.  Personally, I didn’t think it was as good as finding Nemo and think the only reason it made as much as it did was because it came out at the perfect time, school had just closed for the summer and there was no competition until secret life of pets came out.  It actually tanked in sales after that which made sense.

I love going to the movies but to see something actually worth spending the money on.  I did enjoy the first Jack Reacher and went to see the sequel Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.  I thought it was an awesome movie and definitely a great sequel.  There’s even more action in the sequel than in the first.  I can’t understand why it’s doing so poorly in the movie house unless there aren’t many people that watched the first one.  Tom Cruise I guess is more known for his Mission Impossible set than Jack Reacher.  But honestly, if you enjoyed the first one, you should enjoy the sequel.  I know I did.

Into watching old movies and I just watched Laurel and Hardy’s Laurel-Hardy Murder Case for the first time ever.  I was laughing so hard I was crying.

I'm so excited to see Star Wars: Rogue One. Shame it won't have a sequel, but I'm psyched nonetheless.

I was so excited when Matt Damon was back as Bourne that I watched Jason Bourne.  While it had the same fierce drive as the original trilogy, it lacked the awesome action sequences that put Bourne on the map.  While it is not without action, the action sequences are short rather than the drag out fights one associated with Bourne.  The sequences for this particular film is more of a ‘Blink and you miss it’ type of thing.  It’s literally he throws one punch and the opponent goes down.  The only true Bourne action sequence is the climax of the film.  I can only think these quick fights are because Damon’s body won’t let him anymore.  It has been nine years since he’s done a Bourne and fourteen years since he started the franchise.  Personally the lack of real Bourne fights made the movie disappointing for me and like it the least of the Damon movies.  (I didn’t care for the Jeremy Reiner one at all which is also disappointing since I enjoyed him as Hawkeye and Hansel.)

Fate of Furious 8.  I have to be honest and say while I miss Paul Walker (God Rest His Soul) the franchise doesn’t really need him.  You throw Vin Diesel with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Stratham into the movie and it’ll always make a hit.  I did like them bringing in Clint Eastwood’s son Scott into the mix for this one and I hope he hangs around for the next two.  I know it’s not quite the same without Walker’s Brian but I think they do a nice job of making it clear they don’t want Brian into the fold since it would endanger his son.  I also like the fact that they gave Diesel’s character Dom a son, though I would like to see one between him and Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty.  As for the movie itself, I think to fully enjoy it you have to overlooked the far-fetched plot sequences which are hardly believable, but then as the serious progressed to be a fan you have to overlook a lot of things and just enjoy the ride.  I have to say I did enjoy it although I didn’t quite by the whole ‘Cipher was the overlord in charge of all villains from previous pictures’ bit but all in all I thought it was a good fit with the serious and can’t wait for number 9.

I just watched inferno with Tom Hanks and I have to say I was blown away by his acting.  I mean he is an incredible actor and I have serval of his movies but playing Robert Langton with amnesia and freaking out over the weird visions he’s having was just phenomenal.  He literally put the other actors to shame though I will say Ben Forster brought his A game to the table.  I have no doubt the others did as well, it’s just their A game wasn’t the same A grade as Hank’s game.

I saw Power Rangers a few weekends ago and it was incredibly slow, but it was fun. Gave me some nice nostalgia.

I didn't know there was an Iron Man 3 coming out. Good! I love all his movies too.
