As a Giants fan I was ecstatic. I had enough listening to the the East Coast bias of Joe Buck and Tim McCarver during the games, but the victory was sweet. I wasn't sure what to expect of the series as I'm not as familiar with Detroit beyond what I saw from statistics, but I'm glad the Giants proved the majority of sports "experts" wrong once again.

As a Dodgers fan, I'd have loved for almost anyone other than San Fran to win, but I have to congratulate them for the way they won.  Coming back against the Cards and sweeping the Tigers is quite impressive.

I am a huge tigers fan and was disappointed this year.  But I expected them to lose.  They had too much time off after american league playoffs.

As a Yankee fan, I'm kinda glad to see SF give Detroit a taste of their own medicine - SWEEP! - though I'm mad because I feel like we could have been there. Oh well, next year, congrats to the Giants!
