This Cali weather is pretty crazy. First its hot then the next minute it rainy. Then its super wind, next minute its all hot and dry. Im just ready for it to be winter already.

It just turned cold in Southern Oregon. The leaves are falling and the temps are cold at night.  It was a great summer though!

We live near the water in Maryland and they have closed all the schools for tomorrow. It's been raining all day, but no winds....yet. I improved on my mistakes from Irene. I figured our trampoline would be fine, just taking the net down. Yeah, that was a bad idea. It tried to blow over our fence and then flew up and put a hole in our shed. This time I have sandbags and stuff holding it down and I put away everything in the yard. My luck though is that my neighbor's umbrella will go right through one of our windows.....since they didn't find it necessary to put their stuff away.

This year weather has been interesting for sure.  I hope the Hurricane headed for the Carolinas will not be as bad as predicted.

We went to the grocery store to get some bananas, and guess what, the store had run out of it's stock of bananas, and I have never seen that happen  previously at my local store. People sure are stocking up on basic food supplies, here in Maryland, before Sandy is here.

I'm thankful that south carolina missed the wrath of hurricane sandy. However, I'm praying for the people up north who will have to go through that experience.
