eCards or traditional cards using airmail...?

for me if between friends & some of family member, using eCards its fine and fast  :) and sometimes it's free too.

but for my parents & elder family/friends mostly I used traditional cards via airmail

how about you guys?

I thought ecards were neat when I was first introduced to them, but found them quickly impersonal and sometimes I was turned off when I received them from others. I still rely on regular cards when getting gifts. Of course my way of acquiring them has also changed too (I buy them periodically online or make my own).
