I try to stay away from offers that require a credit card.  Too risky for me.

I made the mistake of not cancelling one of those free trials one time back when I first started making money online and I have never done any of the free trials again. It cost me like $30.....I was so mad. I also don't like dealing with cancelling. You can't just say you want to cancel......they have to try to make you stay for 45 minutes first. Now whenever I see one on the offers page, I immediately click the X.
