Countdown to cashout
« on: October 21, 2012, 11:45:48 pm »
I thought maybe if there was a countdown to cashout at the top of the account page people may be motivated to aim for higher for example if you cash out it resets to 25.00 to cashout and as you make money it deducts it and it's updated as you earn 24.00 to cashout and so on......

I think that is a great idea, that way members can see how much time they have to reach their cashout goals. Something like that would help me because I don't know when I am at my three month mark. That is why I cash out as soon as I reach 25 that way I don't miss my deadline. If I understand correctly each time you earn something it has its own 180 days, I am still a little confused about that but whatever. A counter sounds a little easier

If you have the toolbar installed you can see your balance on a real-time basis. The toolbar is a great feature and you also earn with it!

I have the Toolbar though it doesn't update everytime I open the browser so I just check ther acct page. That page also give me the top 4 forum topics so I can jump to the forum daily.

I haven't downloaded the toolbar yet but I think I will if I can see my totals updated that way. I will see how it works out.

I think the countdown is a cute idea. Sometimes I forget when it's coming up and it could push people to earn more faster.

Wish I could say I was going to be able to cashout this month.  But sadly I didn't make it, hardly ever get approved for surveys and I've done as many offers as I can, and I really don't have any referals.  So guess I'll just have to shoot for next month hopefully to cashout then? :'(

Yeah I think it will motivate me more as well if I see that I only have a few dollars more to go I know I will be able to push myself to get that cashout every month.

we have the opposite of that on the toolbar now, it shows you updated accumulated total. Sometimes not as fast as your account page but it updates fairly often, something like every 10 or 30 minutes. for me I just check it when I log in and compare it to my account page total to make sure they are not too far off, but I think the total adding up instead of deducting allows people to go over the $25 and adding is a little more positive than deducting. I suppose it is all in what works for each person and what motivates them.

I think a motivation would help people earn more, but it's not entirely necessary. People should be allowed to work at their own pace.

I think that you have a good idea, some members would really like this. Also, to add to it, it would be cool if you yourself could set it after you cashout, that way if your goal is higher then just $25, they could also have a countdown.. What I mean is go ahead and have it just as you suggested to where it starts at '$25.00 to go' but make it to were you can change it to '$30.00 to go' ect.

I really like the toolbar and use it everyday! I never have any trouble with search earnings either BTW.
