I'm curious why is it that Christians feel more offended than most religious people. When I was growing up I went to a Baptist Church that was all white and my brothers and I was only Black kids there. 3 of us learned about the bible from a Baptist minister. We went to Sunday school and 2 times a week bible study. I learned much from this preacher who became a great family member up until he passed away and his family is still apart of our lives. One thing about our Baptist minister he never implied that all should be or should have to fight among religion.
Christians seem to push they believe upon others and also think that their religion is most holy. This is the reason why we have such a problem within our Gov.... State and Church should never go together. I think that Christians have gotten besides them self and really need to go back to putting their religion in a place where it does not affect judgement of Gov or affect PRO CHOICE. I'm tired of hearing about what Christians think all people should do. Its not your life or choice so please think about yourself and already move on and do whats best for your religion among those who believe in it. Stop trying to push your beliefs on others.
I, speaking for myself, am not trying to push my belief on others. Everyone has their own choice to make in life.
In this forum, I am for fairness when it comes to people starting threads of interest for others who may take an interest or share in the subjects. That includes an Off Topic Bible Verse thread, Inspiration thread (whether quotes or verses or little things that mean a lot (whether Biblical or not), and Prayer threads, etc. They aren't necessarily debate threads, although many turn into them. And while people can come in and oppose, it's not following the "golden rule" of this forum, for people to come after every single poster/post in those Off Topic threads, over and over, to constantly bash and cut down those who enjoy those threads. That is my main issue.
Those threads are allowed and in essence, those "trollers" who are always bashing, are the ones trying to "push their opposition" onto those others. A debate/discuss thread, however, would be "enter at your own risk," this is true. But the Off Topic ones being overly bashed is not fair to those who only want to share with any who are interested in listening and also sharing.
