cashout attempt
« on: October 21, 2012, 09:57:22 am »
I attempted to cashout yesterday and recieved a sucessful but, the amount of my cashout is not showing in the pending area of my account information. Is there a time I have to wait until it tells me that what I cashout is pending?? Or might there be something wrong with my account??I really don't want to wait until the end of the month and then have to wait another month for my cashout. I also attempted it again today but, still no indication that the amount is pending yet.!

I changed my email payment verification along with changing my Paypal account email and attempted it again and it worked. I don't know why I have had to change my email three time now in the past 2 mos. It would work for about 2-3 weeks and then I would get a notice on my account page that you received an error that the account was either full or been discontinued. I am running out of email accounts to give you. The other two accounts that I have changed from are working for other channels. I don't know why they are not working for FC.!!

If your account balance is zero or close to zero, then your cash out request probably went through.

The individual account entries should say the items are pending cashout.  If they still say "Approved", rather than "Pending cashout"  and your cash out balance is zero/close to zero, then there is an inconsistency in the records.  In that case, contact Support about the inconsistency.

If your account balance is above $25 (with at least $15 in offers), and your individual entries say "Approved", then your cash out request didn't take.

Check your account balance and verify that you have $15 in offers.  Usually better to have more than $25 in total, but not required.

Also check that your direction for payment (PAYPAL, Direct Deposit or check) is in order.  The cash out process usually includes a request for you to confirm your direction and if you didn't do that, the request would have failed.  (There are other queries -- donations to charities - etc - and you have to walk through each question before you get the end.)

I'm glad that you got it to work.

I use gmail for my email address and have not had any problems with FC re sending their emails or making payment to PAYPAL.

If you are using a different email server, hotmail, yahoo in particular, there are problems with those sites because they tend to screen emails (as spam) so they get sent back to the sender.

Once emails get returned to sender, they usually take your email address off their mailing list.  That's great, if they are really spam, but not so great when they aren't.

I'm confused. Why do you need all these email accounts? I really don't think it would be the email that would have been causing the error because the email address has nothing to do with the cashout process. I think even if you have an email not associated with a Paypal account, it would still come up as pending and then just put your money back in your account when it couldn't put the money in the paypal account. Was your previous cashout still pending?

Don't know why myself!! But it seems to be true!! Over the past few months FC has had me change my email with FC because, they say it is full or no longer works. I have two email accounts with AIM and never had a problem in the 2 1/2 years I have been working with FC, just over the past few months. I do not have any problems getting emails to those two accounts with anyone else. I also have a third account with my Internet provider and had to give that one to FC, because the first AIM account did not work with FC about 5 weeks ago and I gave them the second AIM account, that worked fine for about 3 weeks and then got the same error from FC on that account. I just changed to my Internet provider account on the 20th, lets see how long it works with FC. Don't know why this is happening!! and had my original Aim account listed with FC over 2 years and never had a problem, and yes I had a different one listed with Paypal then I orignally had with FC and it worked for 2 years!! I really don't need three email accounts but, they sure came in handy when they did not work with FC anymore!! And also I was not receiving my daily .02C emails because of this.

It looks like you were caught up in an issue we had in September with a small number of AOL accounts.  Our messages were bouncing back with an odd error message and with no discernible pattern.  The two emails that you had problems with were @aol.com and @aim.com addresses which both use AOL's servers.  Both of them had that odd bounce happen on separate dates which resulted in the blocking you observed.

I went ahead and cleared those bounces from our system so you should be able to go back to either of those addresses if you wish.  If you (or anyone else) has this problem in the future, the best thing to do is open a support ticket since we can see and clear the bounces for you quite easily.

Sorry for the troubles!

Thank you for the information about the AOL/AIM servers that you had a problem with. I will probably stay with my Internet provider email for awhile and go back at a later date, don't know if this problem may arise in the future. It seems that AOL bought out AIM and are using them for their free email service, now that I think about it that happened fairly recently. Thanks again for the information.

The easiest fix for all of this is to change everything to a gmail e-mail account.  It's free and works and has never given me any problems.  Not to mention the space gmail gives you for the inbox is always growing so even though my cwortman544 account is launched with a lot of emails it's only like 2% full.  I remember back in the day when I had a hotmail account and it didn't take long for it to fill up and then I wouldn't get emails once it filled up.

I don't have any problems with cashing out and getting paid through my Pay Pal account at all.  I just have a problem trying to make the amount needed to cashout every month.  Like this month I'm gonna have to wait till next month cause I can't seem to get to the $25 needed to cashout.  Its harder for me cause I don't have any referrals, just don't know that many people.
